There’s a little Chinese section Donald Dungan Library in Costa Mesa! Not a huge selection but at least there’s something.

- Who doesn’t love free!
- You can find a LOT of books in Chinese on Google if you just type the title of the book (in Chinese) followed by .txt
- I used this to do a cross analysis of words I’ve learned on HH versus words I “don’t know” yet in the books to then fish out vocabulary to add to My Dictionary on HH
- Yes, it is just a txt file, but that brings me to the next topic!
- Send to Application
- Kindle:
- Whether you have the file saved on your phone or on the computer, you can use the “send to Kindle” feature to read it like anything else you’re reading on the kindle.
- With this, you can read it on your computer or phone with the features of adding notes, pulling up the dictionary, etc!
- iPhone users:
- This also works for the Books app, but it’s a little less elegant than the Kindle method. It basically just directly generates a PDF from the plaintext and sends it to the Books app lol.
