Has anyone gone through the trouble of making a chart with pictures of all the characters that represent sounds?

I don’t think anything like that exists yet. One thing we do have that may help is a link to the relevant Wikipedia article for each of the sound personas on the sound page. E.g., on gu- - Goofy - Simplified Pinyin sound mnemonic | HanziHero if you click on “Learn more about Goofy” it’ll go to the Wikipedia page which will almost always have a picture that can help you better visualize the characters.
I’ll add an item to our backlog to consider adding pictures on the sound pages directly at some point.
