Hi, is it possible to change the lessons to use simplified characters?
I see them here, however I’m only able to study traditional characters.

We are still in the process of rolling out the simplified curriculum, which was added just days ago. We’ll have a blog post out within the next days giving more details about how it works and so on.
Right now there is no way to switch over to using simplified. That is next on our plate. For now it is only for new users. We hope to implement a way to switch over from traditional to simplified, while retaining progress, within the next two weeks. When we do, we will post an announcement.
The tricky part is determining which items should have their progress carried over to the simplified course and which ones shouldn’t. For example, we don’t want to switch a user over to simplified and have them get reviews about simplified characters they aren’t familiar with just because they already learned the associated traditional character (e.g., 風 风 look pretty different, but are both “wind”). Likewise, we don’t want users to have to re-learn a simplified character when they already learned the traditional character that is the exact same (e.g., 好 is same in both scripts)! We need to have a smart way to transfer the progress while keeping these rules of thumb in mind. That’s what we are working on now, along with a bunch of database and backend changes.
Hi Kevin,
Thanks for this update, I have been looking forward to learning the simplified curriculum and didn’t realise that I could access it by creating another account, it might be worth noting this somewhere on the dashboard.
Personally I might use 2 accounts at the same time until you’re able to implement some function to switch, for me it’s not a big deal.
I love what you guys are building here and I’m finding it extremely helpful for learning, keep up the good work.
Thanks for your kind encouragement.
We’ll add a note to the dashboard sometime soon as we finish polishing up some rough edges!
