New year pinyin for 樂

I wanted to learn “Happy New Year!” so I have found in dictionary 新年快樂 pinyin xin1nian2kuai4le4 all characters are in hanzihero but the last one reads like yue4

Why is it like that ?

Some characters have different pronunciations depending on the meaning. In this case, 樂 can be read as yue4 if it means music and le4 if it means happy. When learning a single character without context using flashcards, you’re kind of forced to take one of the multiple pronunciations and stick with that because there’s no way to distinguish them without context.
