Recently started HanziHero, about 4 days ago.

I’ve always wanted to learn Mandarin but didn’t know where to start, I’ve heard of the marilyn method someone used to help learn Hanzi but trying to plan all that out was turning into a headache, then I found HanziHero which is great.

Where I’m at now:

Lesson batch size - 5
Daily lesson limit - Changed this to 15 today
Daily word limit - 10
Daily dictionary limit - 10

I also have a mandarin tutor that I see 1-2x a week for now, so i’m really trying to improve where I can. If anyone has any advices, open to hearing any suggestions!

I try to do at least 30-ish mins a day

Also to Kevin and Phil. Love the site!! I also work as a SWE, so I can really see all the effort and work you’re putting into it and also love the patch-note style updates you give on this blog

The main suggestion I have is taking advantage of the Extra Study widget on the dashboard (or in the Lesson/Review Summary) whenever you have the time! Exposure seems to help a lot when going through the initial SRS stages :thinking:
