Two important changes:
We added a new -er final instead of having the er sound being represented by null+null, which did not really make sense.
We changed 教 from jiao1 to jiao4. This character is pronounced both ways depending on context, but this is the more common pronunciation of it within words and alone. That character will be reset for those who have already learned it.
