Hey there! I think i’ve seen it mentioned previously somewhere in the community, but I would love to have the function to be able to add my own ‘visually similar hanzi’ to flashcards. I’m constantly tripping up on certain hanzi that look similar and find it just takes me out of the flow having to leave the app to check Pleco to see the mistake. I would love to be able to just add the hanzi I mistook it with to instantly reference, similar to how you can see visually sounding hanzi (which I personally feel is much less useful) on some entries for example. Is there a plan to integrate this any time soon? Many thanks!

this happens to me sometimes too. for what it is worth, my approach on this is to a) show the character info; b) pick the common component and open it in a new tab (which you can do w/o stopping reviews); c) go down to the “used in characters” section. there i can take 30 secs to compare the two or three similar characters side by side.
Heyaa thanks so much for your input, it’s much appreciated! I think this would still basically be the same as checking Pleco for me personally though tbh, would much prefer a function in the app which I can instantly refer to side by side. They have ‘similar meaning characters’ and ‘same pronunciation’ so i’m just curious why there can’t be a ‘visually similar’ category added…feel like that would be much more useful than say same pronunciation!
