Hi there, I really love HanziHero but I’m old and slow and learning Mandarin to keep my brain working. I am nearly through my first 100 characters and wondered if it might be possible to have a way of buying characters 100 at a time rather than a subscription model which leads to pressure and panic to make the most of it. I would prefer to pay more in the long run and purchase blocks of 100 new characters without the time pressure to get the most from a subscription. I realise the lifetime subscription kind of does this but, for me, it is too much in one chunk for my meagre finances.

I don’t think we will add this in the near future as it is much more complex to add on our end than it would initially seem, since payment related features are usually more complex and error-prone than the rest of the application. But we will definitely consider this option if we make changes in the future to payment options.

Hi! if you keep consistency you can learn 3.650 hanzi and 3.650 with one early subscription. So there is really now need to rush. If you are a normal person dealing with these numbers will be hard enough without adding any extra.
3650 hanzi and words in a year is incredibly obvious but I hadnt even considered it until I read this post. Been neglecting my chinese while immersing in spanish the past couple weeks but thats incredibly motiving to at least keep building my base with HH
