I recently went on vacation. I thought I’d be able to stay on top of my queue. Alas. Now I come back and there’s 500+ reviews and 20 lessons waiting for me.
It would be nice if vacation mode allowed one to catch up on existing items at a leisurely vacation-y pace without being put straight back into the grind where you left it.

One thing to note is that you can sort of replicate this behavior today by turning off vacation mode, doing a portion of one’s reviews, then turning on vacation mode. Vacation mode effectively just “pauses time” within the SRS system. This allows one to slowly tackle existing reviews without new ones coming in.
