Do you use AI language models to visualize mnemonics?

I’ve been using this technique for some time now and it helps me memorize a character faster.

I don’t know how it will affect the quality of my memory in the long term, because memorizing with imagination definitely trains the memory itself.

Wow, I’m surprised how well they turn out!

I would be curious too. One could suppose that the picture, though it replaces solidifying the mnemonic through imagination, still induces its own strong “connection”, especially through its own specific details. It also helps that it draws the characters! It’s easy to be a bit lazy when it comes to imagining the characters 😅

People who struggle to visualize, or lack the ability to form mental images, are said to have a condition called aphantasia. I am one of them. This condition, which affects about 1-3% of the population, is not a disability or medical condition, but rather a difference in how the brain processes and imagines. This is why I would love the ability to have a function that allows users to share their images if they have already created images using AI. This way the work of creating images isn’t done by every learner who prefers this method.

I suppose one way to support these cases would be to link a thread to each item within HanziHero and thus anyone can share the images they generated there, perhaps 🤔 though I imagine it’d be nice to see it accessible within Lessons/Reviews

Seeing how impressive the generation has become, it would be cool to support these cases and share!
