# I keep getting characters I've already skipped

I’m not sure if this is related to the HSK 3 changes that were implemented recently, but even after going through and ensuring all my lower-level known characters are already skipped, I’m consistently seeing low-level characters show up in my lesson queue (and notably, they don’t show up in the Dashboard view of upcoming characters, only when I’m actively doing my two batches of five items each).

For example, today I see

Which are all low-level, well-known, and already-skipped characters. The previous several days it was the same thing with a different set of familiar characters. Yesterday I reviewed HSK1, 2, etc to ensure there were no known characters that weren’t marked as skipped. But as of today, these characters have seemingly “unskipped” themselves. What gives?
