The idiom 出口成章 is one of my words today. I’m confused whether one of the example sentences here may be incorrectly using the phrase: 这 位 作家 的 文笔 出口成章。

I try to check some other sources when learning an idiom to better understand it and make sure I’m getting extra context for it. What I’m running into suggests that 出口成章 is specifically about verbal eloquence/well-polished impromptu speech skills, so complimenting someone’s writing with 出口成章 may be misleading.

Thanks! I think the example sentence is worth revisiting in this case 🙂 I’ll see what I can swap it out with before our next curriculum update!
